Alex Coury is a Los Angeles-based actor, comedian, producer, and impressionist known for his sharp stand-up, quick improvisational style, character work, and accurate celebrity voice impressions. Blending stand-up, acting, and character-driven comedy, his performances combine strong stage presence with an unpredictable, conversational style rooted in live audience interaction.
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Alex first appeared on television in Disney Channel’s Bug Juice before relocating to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue acting professionally. While studying Fine Arts at the New York Film Academy and working at the iconic Sunset Tower Hotel, he appeared as the Prom King in Avril Lavigne’s music video for “Here’s to Never Growing Up.”
Alex has trained extensively at The Groundlings, Second City, and Playhouse West, developing a performance style rooted in improvisation, character work, scene study, and live comedy. In addition to acting and stand-up, he also produces and hosts live comedy events featuring nationally touring comedians. He performs regularly at venues across the country, continuing to expand his work across stand-up comedy, acting, and live entertainment.
